Welcome and thank you for taking an interest in Denver Skin Aesthetics. Established in 1998 by prominent plastic surgeons William Brown and David Charles, DSA is one of the oldest skin care clinics in the Denver metro area. With the recent retirement of Drs. Brown and Charles, DSA is now under the leadership of their partners Dr. David Schnur and Dr. Karen Lo of the Plastic Surgery Clinic. A small, locally-owned business, we take pride in developing long-lasting relationships with our clients, providing them with therapies to fit their individual needs. Sarah Heinrich is our State Board Certified Esthetician with over 11 years of experience working primarily in medical aesthetics, treating clients with a variety of skin care concerns. Sarah is a Denver native who naturally loves the outdoors, especially snow boarding. Sarah has personally faced challenges with her skin having had cystic acne. Her personal experience formed the foundation of her compassion for people struggling with their own dermatologic issues and she is committed to sharing in their success. She is certified in multiple skin resurfacing treatments including CO2 therapy, Sublative skin resurfacing, microneedling, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and dermaplane.
Sarah is also a Certified Laser Technician for laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, and wrinkle reduction. She is driven by her passion to treat the skin with a multitude of modalities to achieve the highest quality outcomes. Sarah is a skilled in the area of injectables including Juvéderm® and Botox® and has been providing this service since 2009. Her education never stops as she continues to stay current on the latest techniques and safety protocols. Sarah also has extensive experience with permanent make-up tattooing including eyebrow shaping such as microblading and soft tap, as well as eyeliner treatments to enhance facial features.
Sarah believes that a critical part of her job is to educate her clients. She can assess your facial routine, help with product knowledge, and advise you on the best treatment path to achieve your goals. She will ensure that you understand all of your skin care options.
Lisa Maul is a State Board Certified Esthetician with over 18 years’ experience working with physicians in the medical skin care field. Lisa has extensive training in laser techniques, chemical peels, dermaplane, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and product knowledge. Always striving to learn about the best in the industry, she has been accredited with many certifications in specialized skin care including: National Society of Plastic Surgical Skincare Specialist, Top Third of the US – Skin Ceuticals, Acne Certification and Anit-aging Solutions- Rocky Mountain Natural Laboratories. Lisa’s passion is to provide individualized skin care to each of her patients.
Chelese Hawkins is our Client Concierge and first point of contact at Denver Skin Aesthetics. She has worked with both the Plastic Surgery Clinic and Denver Skin Aesthetics for fifteen years and is very knowledgeable in our array of services and products. Chelese will assist you with scheduling, general skin care, and product use. She also loves to help our clients take advantage of their Brilliant Distinctions/Allѐ savings program and will always update you on their latest promotions. Chelese is an artist by trade and couldn’t be happier working in the aesthetics industry where she gets to play a role in helping our clients look and feel their best! Enthusiastic about learning all of our different modalities/skin care products, Chelese loves passing that information along to our clients and appreciates the relationships she has built with them over the years. Although she can help assist you with a plethora of subjects, she will always refer to one of our specialists if she doesn’t have the answer, making sure you get the best quality care possible!
