ELŌS Plus Treatment (IPL/Photo Facial)

Skin Rejuvenation using the elōs Plus Treatment (IPL/Photo Facial) is a non-invasive, non-ablative broad spectrum light that safely and comfortably fades the appearance of skin imperfections. This therapy targets and reduces the appearance of pigmentation, Rosacea, and veins by using light remodeling and radiofrequency energies that stimulate collagen production and results in overall improved skin tone and texture. Skin Rejuvenation also stimulates collagen to help decrease fine lines. 

The combined bi-polar radio frequency and light energies of elōs technology precisely and safely targets pigmented lesions such as freckles, sun spots, age spots. Cooling of the skin surface ensures additional safety during the treatment. It is the heating of the cells that causes the therapeutic effect. Immediately after the procedure, the spots will start to darken and a slight redness may also appear. The redness typically subsides within a few hours. Over the course of the next one to two weeks, the darkened spots will fade and flake off. It is recommended to schedule a Microdermabrasion or Dermaplane treatment one to two weeks later to remove the dark spots. All skin types and conditions vary, but most patients see significant improvement in their skin within a few weeks of treatment. More than one treatment is typically needed and is recommended every three to four weeks followed by Microdermabrasion or Dermaplane. As always, we recommend using a sunscreen at all times.
